A sanctuary for embodied movement

Slow, intelligent movement practices designed to help you feel stronger, calmer and more at home in your body.

A calm, considered approach to yoga that builds strength, cultivates awareness and allows space for deep rest.

WAYS TO PRACTICE

SMALL GROUP CLASSES

These small-group classes combine gentle somatic movement, breath-led yoga and mindful strengthening to build awareness, stability and ease from the inside out. Movements are slow and intentional, allowing you to feel how your body organises itself in space while calming the nervous system and releasing accumulated tension.

Suitable for a wide range of bodies and experience levels, this is a space to move with intention, build quiet strength and reconnect with yourself.

PRIVATE CLASSES

Private sessions offer a quiet, personalised space to explore movement, breath and wellbeing at your own pace.

Each session is tailored to your body, your needs and your goals — whether you are new to yoga, recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply looking for a more individual approach to practice.

Working one-to-one allows us to move with greater attention and detail.

ALAYA FOUNDATIONS COURSE

A six-week introductory programme designed to help you begin — or rebuild — a yoga practice with confidence and understanding.

Across the six weeks we move slowly and deliberately, learning the fundamental shapes of yoga alongside the principles that support them: breath, posture, balance and awareness.

Classes are small and supportive, with plenty of space for questions, guidance and individual adaptation.

WORKSHOPS & PRIVATE EVENTS

Small-group courses and seasonal workshops designed to deepen knowledge and reinforce foundations.

Ideal for beginners seeking structure, or students wishing to develop their practice with greater intention.

kind words

A few reflections from those who have practiced with me.

“I’m so grateful for Sharon and the incredible energy she brings to every class. She has such a calming presence and creates a space that feels both supportive and empowering. I always leave her sessions feeling stronger, more grounded, and completely refreshed. Sharon truly has a gift for guiding you, not just physically, but mentally as well.”

Group Class

“I hadn’t been to yoga for years but this class has awakened my interest. The setting is calm, warm, friendly and Sharon, the teacher, is so supportive, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She adapts the class if you have any issues and leads you through each position into an easy flow. I look forward to how the weekly sessions stretch and challenge me after my daily exercise. So glad I joined as it has helped me to transform my body in a fun and inspiring way.”

Group Class

“I tried Sharons Somatic Yoga class last night and honestly…I loved it. No pressure, no levels, no rules about experience, just space to arrive in your body. I hadn’t realised how much I remembered or how much I had missed that feeling a great yoga instructor provides.

Gentle, hands-on guidance, deep stretching, beautifully considered breath work. The lighting, the sound, and even the temperature was perfect. Everything felt intentional and calming. I left feeling longer(!), softer and properly chilled. Already booked in for more sessions!”
